JIAPAC (Journal of the International Association of Providers of AIDS Care) is a peer-reviewed open access journal which focuses on original research, case reviews, and clinical perspectives on the management of HIV and its comorbid conditions.

JIAPAC aims to be a primary information resource in developed and developing regions for both practitioners and researchers of global AIDS treatment. This journal explores the following topics and more in a variety of care settings: pathology, coinfections, clinical pharmacotherapeutics, diagnostic testing, epidemiology, health services and cultural and behavioral influences on AIDS and its treatment.

Our goal is to publish novel research, even if it represents an incremental advance. While our primary focus is on ensuring sound research practices, including adherence to ethical standards and the use of robust, transparent methodologies both qualitative and quantitative, we recognize the value of incremental contributions to the field. We care more about the quality of the contribution an article makes than we do the size of that contribution. JIAPAC evaluates manuscripts based on how the research was conducted and reported.

JIAPAC is a member of the Committee on Publication Ethics. We recommend that authors follow the Recommendations for the Conduct, Reporting, Editing, and Publication of Scholarly Work in Medical Journals formulated by the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE).
